Poetry + Generative Art + Five Human Senses = NFTs?

Industry is undoubtedly the focal point of the NFT ecosystem. From 3D renders and hand-drawn avatars to photographs, songs, movies, and more – with the help of NFTs, almost any type of intellectual property in the blockchain can become immortal. For this reason, over the past two years, we have witnessed the growth and evolution of NFT space to include a vast assortment of artistic endeavors from a truly wide variety of artists of all disciplines.

David Bianchi is one of the artists who pushed the boundaries between art and blockchain technology. As an individual who has been working openly to promote socially conscious issues through NFT, Bianchi is now using his background as a multi-hyphenate artist, actor, filmmaker and spoken word poet to further diversify the fine art sector of the NFT space.

With an innovative new project called Sense set to drop through the Async Blueprint on June 9, Bianchi will release the first audiovisual, poetic, generative NFT collection. Created in collaboration with coder / productive artist Dogan Demir And versatile artist / producer PLS & TY, Sense combines spoken word poetry, therapeutic music and psychedelic art. Each NFT theme in the 1,000-piece collection reflects on the five human senses.

What is Sense NFT?

Sensation is a project that specializes in poetry, music, and the creative arts. For the project, Bianchi wrote and performed 100 spoken word poems that provided the basis for the collection. He says these poems are easy to record, but also necessary, because they fit his desire to tell emerging and underlying stories about what it means to be human.

“The glory of these poems is that they focus on who we are, not what we are, our social or financial status or who we know. It only touches us, “Bianchi said in an interview with NFT. “This is the first time in NFTS that poetry has been used in this way between generic music and art. The transfer of commercial exploitation of poetry to the owner is a very powerful utility, as well as the metaverse experience of word bathing that we will create locally for token holders. “

From these poems, Demi created a set of visual layers, each consisting of code that was informed by data from recordings of Bianchi’s vocal performance. PLS & TY was then strategically tasked with creating music that matched the meditative and introspective theme of the collection.

“The music is dedicated, concise, and fits within the specific frequency zones of the Solfeggio frequencies. Solfeggio frequencies are part of an old six-tone scale that is believed to have power in spirituality. These frequencies are proven to heal, activate cycles and touch us in a variety of ways depending on the level of the frequency chart, “explains PLS & TY.

“Sensations go deeper than biological system selection and an NFT industrial collection. It is a call to self-absorption, to discover beauty in the simplicity of the human senses, and to find a safe haven and place for healing using poetry, art and music, “says PLS & TY.

Why focus on the five senses?

The sensations distinguish themselves from many contemporary NFT efforts in that it is both experimental and experimental. Instead of simply showing and minting a static NFT to users, each token in the collection incorporates an audio-visual experience designed to be therapeutic and related to five human senses: touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste.

As a distinctive outlier in the current PFP-dominated NFT market, Bianchi’s Senses seems to be on a lesser journey – focusing on fine art and offering collectors an introverted journey in place of complex roadmaps. Since “utility” remains a controversial topic in NFT space, Bianchi says he hopes his latest collection could inspire others, poets and crypto-artists to collaborate in more bold and fearless ways.

“I hope so [Senses] Using technology to help make the world a better place inspires artists to create more self-conscious art, “Bianchi now says nft. “Meditation may not be for everyone, sound baths may not be for everyone, but everyone in our community has to stop at some point and think about how they fit into this complex world. I believe that the audiovisual experience through the senses will help our community to do just that. “
