The iconic American comedy duo, Abbott and Costello, can now make us laugh on the blockchain, thanks to an interesting collection of NFTs. The project operates under an exclusive license from the estate of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello through Unforgettable Licensing and is presented by Power Up NFTs. The NFT collection is “Who’s On First”, named after the comedy duo’s famous “Who’s On First” routine. There is a total 8,791 NFTs are up for grabs, and will drop on October 28th.

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were a very popular comedy duo for over twenty years. In fact, they worked together from 1935 – 1957. During this time, the pair achieved massive success across radio, film and television. Their routine, “Who’s on First?” is the time Magazine’s ‘Best Comedy Routine of the 20th Century.’
Now, Abbott and Costello have their own collection of 8,791 NFTs, which is still a picture of a famous routine. In 1951, on an episode of The Colgate Comedy Hour, the duo performed an iconic six-minute sketch. Now, the routine is what creates the NFT collection.
Since the NFTs are each individual still images from the 1951 TV show, they are not crystal clear However, this only adds to the historical nature of NFTs and the reality they provide.
The first 500 NFTs will be available for 0.1 ETH (~$133.77) and the next 500 for 0.125 ETH (~$167.22).

“I’m delighted that the “Who’s On First” legacy lives on with over 50 million YouTube views,” Chris Costello, daughter of Lou Costello, said: “And now, in addition to being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, the routine will forever be preserved as NFTs.”
Notably, the release of the Abbott and Costello NFTs coincides with the first game of baseball’s 2022 World Series — a nod to the origin of the legendary “Who’s on First” routine.
