It now has its first NFT-based restaurant in San Francisco
You can now visit an NFT restaurant in San Francisco that offers $ 300,000 club membership. The team behind NFT Restaurant and SHO Club has announced more details about membership levels and how they will work for a wider customer base in San Francisco.
Extremely ambitious project
The SHO Club is an ambitious project that has made an accelerated development in the form of the first SF NFT restaurant and club. Club membership comes in three levels; Water, earth and fire.
If you are aware of the declining trajectory of cryptocurrency, you will understand that a volatile market causes fluctuations in price. However, potential club members have the option to purchase SHO club membership in US dollars. You can still get proof of ownership as an NFT, which is integrated with the Ethereum-based blockchain.
Accepting NFTs
Josh Siegel, CEO of SHO Group, highlights that it places more emphasis on underlying technology systems such as NFT adoption than just prioritizing currency-based transactions. Siegel’s goal is to create a perfect balance of technology and food in their NFT-powered project. Siegel further agrees that the security parameters around NFT and blockchain-based solutions are ideal for securing membership. And unlike physical cards, the risk of NFT-based transactions and membership fraud and scams is significantly lower.
Membership and dining facilities
Siegel understands that innovative and advanced technology has become the focus of the company and now wants to change its priorities for further growth in the future. Additional benefits for membership holders will include airdrops, exclusive ticket events and more. Siegel noted that this is a long-term approach for their clubs and restaurants that could expand and expand activities in the near future.
At its core, SHO Club membership brings more than just door-to-door service – it allows members to access initial reservations and get house accounts. Club members will also receive a reserved lounge and menu for members. Club membership offers educational programs and online event tickets. The company’s current benchmark is 2,678 Earth-tier SHO membership mints. However, Siegel confirmed that there are no clear plans to add more memberships once the initial threshold is reached.
As far as food goes, Chef Shotaro Kamio or “Show” will be responsible for two unique food experiences for the general public and members. The restaurant can instantly save on rooftop bars and dining restaurants. When it comes to the main floor, the restaurant uses a 12 by 3 foot long submerged irori-based charcoal grill to serve through the best cooking equipment.
In the restaurant, the chef’s goal is to introduce a more subtle dining experience under the banner of Japanese Farmhouse and specialized cuisine. In fact, the chef wants to create rich and ummi flavors through aged meat and fish combined with natural, smoky and delicious flavors.
More hospitality and recognition in San Francisco
In conjunction with casual dinners, the restaurant will also offer a custom sec selection. According to Siegel, pre-sale of club membership will begin in August. With NFT-based restaurants, Siegel highlights that it seeks to increase the level of hospitality and create more recognition in the SF community.
