Story Games Beta is now live on the App Store, NFT Utility is coming this summer! | NFT Culture | NFT and Crypto Art Interviews and more

Story Games is a free-to-play, choose-your-own-adventure style game that features hidden object scenes, match-3 and time management challenges that the player must complete to progress through the stories. The Story Games app will feature a variety of stories from different writers of different backgrounds and interests, each with a unique story to tell.

The first story we’re releasing in beta is “Immortality” and it’s already available in the app stores! When we release our first NFT collection this summer, Immortalized will be the first hidden object game with an NFT utility, including the option to make your immortalized NFT your in-game avatar and critical additional daily login rewards!

Upcoming features will include more stories, match-3, tournaments, factions, and player vs. player battles. Each story we publish will be associated with its own NFT collection of 2,500 characters, with subsequent collections of 2,500 more NFTs being released based on evidence of satisfying previous commitments in the roadmap. These collections will be released for a total of 15,000 NFT as each story is completed Each subsequent collection will be released only after reaching the road map targets for the previous collection Market conditions and demand will also be considered before releasing each collection.

The Story Games team is hands-on, flexible and passionate with a total of over 20 team members including game designers, project and community managers, programmers, art directors, graphic designers, special effects specialists, writers, researchers and editors.

NFTs are not being used as a “kickstarter” for this project, instead they are being used to compliment and enhance an already great game!

How do you come up with ideas?

Ole, the CEO of Immortal Games, the company behind Story Games, has a history of working as an entrepreneur in the gaming industry and enjoys playing mobile hidden object games with his son. This inspired him to create his own game in that genre, and the project took on a life of its own, bringing in other writers, artists and designers. I have been in the crypto space for many years and the NFT space since late 2020, and as I started to get more interested in NFT, I realized that the game I was writing with Ole would be perfect for NFT utility.

What makes this project unique?

We think we have something special here because we already have a game that people can try before they buy NFT.

How big is the team and what are their roles?

At least 20 people are working on this project. Some of them are working in full time capacity. Others are part-time, and some are working for equity. We are spread all over the world, and have been working together for several years now.

What is the price?

Meta may be free mint right now, but we feel that since we already have a viable product, .07 is a fair price. Actually, I believe many gaming companies in the same position would charge much more, but I’m a collector myself and I want to stay under .1 for pfp projects. The 1/1 industry and different types of projects are a different story, but I think pfp projects allow the community to participate in the value discovery process, and I think anywhere under .1 allows that to happen.

What is the size of the mint?

2,500. However, over the next year or so we will release 5 of these 2,500 collections, with different characters that relate to different stories in the app, for a total of 15,000.

Are there any mechanics we should know about?

NFTs will have utility in the game immediately. We plan to partner with other projects to allow other NFT collections to be useful in the game, or at least appear as your avatar. For example, if we’re lucky enough to partner with Yuga Labs, you can use your app as an avatar in our games and get powerup bonuses.
