Crypt Gallery returns with a new curated lineup of artists, each with a unique background, artistic style and approach, yet all focused on sharing stories through their personal perspectives and lenses.
We welcome Esra Eslen, Turkish illustrator and graphic designer, to Nifty Gateway for his Genesis drop. The relationship with Ezra initially began when King of Midtown was collecting his work on other platforms. Captivated and drawn by color schemes and details, King later became mesmerized by descriptions and morbid interpretations of everyday scenes. Presenting this rare combination of color, simple social moments, natural violence, disorder and storytelling, we introduce the Ng collector to an artist we personally trust and are already invested in. Publishing 15 editions, Esra’s work is available as a ranked auction starting at 6. : 30 pm approx
American street photographer, Jake Inez, also debuted for his Genesis drop in NG. Also capturing moments of everyday life, yet in a completely different medium and style, Jack’s deliberate use of light, angle and composition glamorises ordinary surroundings and evokes an emotional response from the viewer. Jack’s previous work is in the hands of notable collectors and he has collaborated on multiple major shoots and campaigns. King and Jack originally met in Los Angeles, quickly connecting on art and culture. Particularly attracted to Jake’s skateboarding and lifestyle, King later introduces him to Miguel and their relationship grows organically. Featuring two artwork releases, editions of 20 each, Jake Midtown rewards King of Gold and Platinum holders with early access beginning at 6:00pm EST – 6:15 pm. The artworks will then be moved for public access at 6:30 pm.
Back at Nifty Gateway, Chicago-based photographer, Jason Peterson, captures moments and stories using dramatically different methods and styles. Known for his infamous black and white photos, Jason has collaborated with leading brands and musicians to create campaigns based on his unique style and abilities. Mastering negative space, contrast and transparency, Jason draws inspiration from the urban environment around him. As a collector and fan, King has always been fascinated by Jason’s style of photography. Revealing part 1 of an ongoing collection, Jason’s three artworks, each an edition of 15, tell the story of falling without fear. Biography: He is a 22 year old illustrator, graphic designer, artist based in Istanbul. He is studying graphic design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. His narrative focuses on fear, chaotic elements and violence. Likes to describe feelings of fear and dread in a humorous way with childish colors and scenes.
Name: Jake Inez
Biography: Jack Inez is an American photographer with roots in Southern California. Elements of his work have a cinematic feel that suggests a deeper underlying story. Her photographs romanticize everyday life. The familiar composition of his work with its emphasis on color, light and motion creates a dreamlike image that fills a viewer with warmth and a desire to see more.
