Soap Joe’s Carwash Uses NFT to Drive Demand – NFT Plaza

Well, that’s one way to find the word. All sorts of companies have been using NFTs for promotions over the past few years. But one of the more interesting ones we’ve seen so far is Soapy Joe’s, a San Diego-based car wash chain.

The institution has been operating a NFT-focused campaigns from July 2022 which rewards its customers for repeat patronage.

How this campaign works is that customers receive an NFT every time they visit one of the chain’s 17 locations. This is done through an email link that is sent to customers after they visit a location. As they collect more NFTs, they gain access to all sorts of rewards, from keychains to free tickets to an amusement park.

While loyalty programs for various brands and the rewards that come with them are not new, Soap is Joe’s Using Ethereum-based NFTs is a creative idea for them. And it’s apparently a popular one too.

According to chain management, more than 10,000 NFTs have been generated since the campaign went live across 2,000 wallets. Its annual membership has also increased by 10%.
