Tezzards, launching in August 2021, is a generative PFP collection featuring 4,200 adorable lizards hand-drawn by illustrator and digital artist George Goodwin. The collection stands out as one of the most significant projects currently hosted on the green blockchain Tejos — hence the name. They are Tezos-native lizards: Tezards! As such, each carries Goodwin’s distinct take on Tezard cartooning. On top of the 4,200 teszards produced in the initial mint, Goodwin is hiding in his collection six extremely rare one-of-a-kind teszards hand-painted by himself.
Notably, the project has a distinctly unique mint mechanic. For every 15 XTZ — Tezos’ native crypto coin — users can spawn up to ten lizard eggs at a time, which will eventually grow into full-grown lizards a day later.
