Upcoming Drops: September 26 – October 2
Let’s face it: the NFT space moves really fast. Given how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFT can be as good as a month IRL.
Don’t get us wrong — the more people into space, the merrier. But with the constant flow of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches and general happenings.
Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, because we’ve put together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops that you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to watch this week.
seven qualities
WHO: risk
What: A ten edition piece, seven open edition pieces
When: September 26 @ 6:30 pm ET
Where: Nifty Gateway
Why: Best known for his allegorical pieces that breathe contemporary life into classical themes and concepts, Zhuk is at it again with his upcoming Seven Virtues collection. Zhuk illustrated and embodied these abstract concepts with his hand and brush, mimicking the seven named virtues found in the ethics of ancient Greek philosophy.
severe pain
WHO: Arya Mullaruma (Gogoperen)
What: Collection mechanics TBA
When: September 28 @ 8:00 pm ET
Where: Makerplace
Why: Also known as Gogoporen in the NFT space, Mularam’s work is heavily inspired by 90s pop culture, video games and films. Despite this relatively light source of inspiration, Mularam’s work often carries with it a certain heaviness. Amidst the idiosyncrasies of the characters he creates for his art are hints of mental illness. His latest collection, Great Pain, is no different. Set to launch IRL later this week at Crypto Art Week Asia in Singapore, one lucky collector will have the chance to win the auction for its NFT counterpart and take home a physical print from the collection.
fear and joy

WHO: Steve Lawler (MozcoWorld)
What: Collection mechanics TBA
When: September 28 @ 8:00 pm ET
Where: Makerplace
Why: Steve Lawler, like most artists, draws a lot of inspiration for his art from his lived experiences. Born in Iran and later spending part of his life in the UK, Hong Kong and now Singapore, Lawler enjoys a unique cultural perspective which he takes full advantage of to create the expansive landscapes and collages that dominate his portfolio. Fear & Delight is one such landscape, and is created as a place “where the spirits of the past and future collide in a frenzy to avenge their wrongs.” The collection is also set to launch IRL at Crypto Art Week Asia later this week, at the same time as Mularama’s Great Pain.

What: Four unique magical places
