DeGods removes royalties from resales – NFT Plaza

The biggest advantage for NFT creators is the royalty. When an NFT is resold, the original creator receives a portion of the fee on top of the initial proceeds from the first sale. Needless to say, this has made NFT popular among developers.

But Digods, a Solana-based NFT collection, has joined a growing number of collections that have introduced a 0-royalty policy for all of its assets. The new policy now also applies to its sister collections, y00ts and t00bs. It means the original creators of assets under this collection No royalties will be received from resale.

We still believe that royalties are an incredible use case for NFTs. We will continue to support manufacturers looking for solutions to implement royalties“, the tweet said, referring to it as a ‘new test’.
