How has it been going so far? And what do we have to wait for?

Launch week is actually when I’m going to drop a single token to give utility in future drops. There was a problem with that approach (I have curation, not self-curation allowed) and three of my artists came up with some great pieces on very short notice, which went open edition at $50. Holders then got access to a collector-only draw of the Iranian female artist drop, which was the second week of collection.

Both Prelude and Irani Drop were special cases in their own way. The Iranian collection was planned a month ago, before the latest news gave it a special relevance and timeliness. The artists were most grateful for the support of the community.

Going forward, themed drops will enter their stride. We have plans for a collection of city visions, traditional artists, abstract art and photography, but the next drop will showcase an amazing set of 3D animators, who will be presenting both open editions and limited editions.

And – there will be a $1 public open version, effectively another token to expand the collector base and give us more flexibility in future collector-only versions.

I never know exactly what will work and what won’t, so these first few weeks I’ve been trying all the different structures available to me as a publisher, being careful about what achieves the best results for my artists and their collectors.
