NFT 100: Honoring the most influential inventors in NFT
In short, it’s easy to see how far NFTs have come. Once upon a time, the place was a small community of artists, businessmen and developers. But the NFT ecosystem has changed in recent years. It has transformed into a new and growing strong creative economy, resulting in a paradigm shift in almost every sector of society. No matter where we look – photography, music, sports, film or finance – there is reason to believe that almost no corner of society will remain untouched.
Things are moving at an incredibly fast pace in the NFT space, where landmark sales and new acquisitions are announced almost daily. Yet, it is the creators and the community-driven mentality that ultimately keeps the wheel spinning.
So, with nft’s mission to empower culture creators, we are proud to announce the inaugural version of the NFT100.
What is NFT100?
NFT100 is an annual celebration of the 100 most influential creators of NFT Space and the personality of the community. This rankless, section-specific showcase provides a comprehensive snapshot of the various talents that have taken the space forward.
People who work to create value – it doesn’t matter
– Finally animated NFT space. As such, NFT100 places special emphasis on those who are innovating, educating and nurturing the community. It honors individuals across two major categories. These are:- Creator: Artists, photographers, musicians and many more NFT creators are leading the economy.
- Community: Creators, taste makers, inventors and leaders who are shaping the future of the NFT space.
How does the selection process work?
The NFT100 selection process includes both community nominations and editorial evaluations.
The nomination process nominates four candidates in each category and allows individuals to have their voices heard. Nominations are now open until June 10th. We use a “fill in the blanks” nomination method to avoid direct competition or unfair ranking of potential candidates. Please note that nominating the same candidate more than once will not affect the chances of election.

For the editorial evaluation part, our reporters and editors use an aggregate mix of concrete data points. And Culturally important issues for nominee evaluation and selection of recipients. To this end, the evaluation process is not an algorithmic number crisis. Instead, the list focuses on each candidate’s accomplishments and various obscure factors to ensure that they reflect a completely relevant landscape of NFT space. Final results are reported by (but not limited to) the following data points:
- NFT sales and volume across major marketplaces
- Social media footprint
- Community participation (a person’s history and engagement in space)
- Innovation
- Social impact
- Diversity and inclusion
The final NFT100 list will be released on June 21, when honors will be celebrated at a special invite event during NFT NYC.
