North Star Boys Launch 1155 ‘You Are My Star’ NFTs with front row
Asian-American sensation North Star Boys (NSB) launched their first NFT drop on Front Row and sold out within an hour.
Fans of the growing content group clamored for the ‘You Are My Star’ single NFT, which was priced at just $10 on global NFT platform Front Row.
There are only a few bundle packs left in the front row, currently priced at $30.
In total, NSB has issued 1155 NFTs, which include digital and real-life utilities such as invitations to exclusive events, meet and greets, VIP tickets to shows, signed merchandise and more.
“You Are My Star” commemorates the release of NFT Group’s first single and includes 15-second clips from their first music video.
Founded in August 2021, NSB is a seven-member group that has gained millions of followers using their social media presence on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
The group includes co-founders and brothers Oliver and Sebastian Moy, along with Reggie Macalino, Ryan Nguyen, Justin Phan, Darren Liang and Ken Ratan. Additionally, they are managed by longtime friend and Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur Tyler Bray.
Sebastian Moy says: “Selling our first NFT drop within an hour completely blew away our expectations. We were getting notes from fans that through Front Row’s platform, buying NFTs was very easy.”
Oliver Moy added: “With the support of STARS, we are extremely excited for what the future holds for North Star Boys’ entry into Web3.”
“We plan to drop more NFTs as we continue to release music, including a utility-based NFT in the near future. We hope to inspire other independent music creators to integrate their content into Web3 as a way to further connect with their audiences.”
The ‘You Are My Star’ NFTs showcase moments from the group’s thrilling journey to New York City, compiled to create their first music video.
The single is a boon to their fans, whom they call ‘Stars’ and NFTs can also be purchased via Apple Pay for a more streamlined process.
With such an affordable price point, NSB aims to make their first drop highly inclusive, thus onboarding as many of their fans as possible into the Web3 realm.
In fact, NSB believes that emerging technologies like NFT can unlock deeper, more meaningful connections with their fanbase.
