Polygon is the only blockchain in the Disney Accelerator
Today, Disney announced that six companies will join the 2022 Disney Accelerator and Polygon Blockchain is one of them. In fact, it is now the only blockchain in the program. The unique Disney initiative aims to accelerate the growth of innovative and progressive companies worldwide. Polygons certainly fit that description, wanting to be completely carbon negative in 2022.
Polygon joins the Disney Accelerator 2022 program
The carbon-neutral layer-two blockchain in the Ethereum network is a progress-thinking scaling solution. Its main goals are to speed up transactions, provide lower fees, and provide a sustainable, environmentally friendly Web3 infrastructure.
With the help of experts from Disney and five other companies, Polygon will further expand the company and develop new working methods. The other five companies working on the Disney program are Flickplay, Inworld, Lockervers, Obsess and Red6.
The Disney 2022 Accelerator program is suitable for Polygon and runs from now until October. This year’s main focus is to “create the future of immersive experience and specialize in technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Non-Functional Tokens (NFTs), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) characters.”
How does the Disney program work?
The Disney Accelerator program will bring these six great organizations together, including Polygon, and help them in a variety of ways. First, they will get the creativity, imagination and skill of the Walt Disney brand.
Throughout the program, each participant will receive excellent advice and support from Disney’s senior leadership team. What’s more, they will have an executive advisor.
Ultimately, Disney will benefit from the program as it moves forward with its next-generation storytelling approach. Polygons and others can give a unique perspective to the world of Web3.
