Snoop Dogg and Eminem to perform their track NFT at the VMAs

Rappers, Snoop Dogg and Eminem are set to perform their NFT track, ‘From the D 2 the LBC’ at MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs). The party starts tomorrow, August 28th at 8pm EST, live on MTV The company has partnered with BAYC, the makers of Yuga Labs, to perform directly from the other side. This is the first time MTV has launched the Metaverse at its event.

Snoop Dogg and Eminem are set to perform tomorrow at the VMAs event hosted by MTV. Interestingly, they will perform directly from Yuga Labs’ Otherside metaverse. This means that this is the first time they will be incorporating the NFT, or Metaverse, into their show.

During the show, the rap duo will perform live from the metaverse while acting as their own BAYC avatars. It represents a crossover between the virtual and physical worlds. 22

From ‘D2 The LBC’

‘From The D2 The LBC’ is a song by Eminem and Snoop Dogg which was launched in June this year. So far, on YouTube, the music video posted on Eminem’s channel has received over 47 million views and 2 million likes.

In the video, Mathers III (Eminem) and Broadus Jr. (Snoop Dogg) is depicted in some parts as their true self. As well as being part of their bored ape yacht club in complex animation.

Also, the song will get more exposure as the duo is set to perform it at MTV’s VMAs.

To clarify, Eminem first bought his Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT in January of this year, buying #9055 at the time for 123.45 ETH or $460,000. Since then it has been nicknamed ‘EminApe’.

Snoop Dogg, in fact, a little earlier in December of last year, and since then has been more involved in the NFT space. His first purchase was Bored Ape #6723, which he bought through a deal with Moonpay, who is also involved in many celebrity NFT transactions.
