The OpenC Solana Launchpad first project is coming on July 20
OpenC has announced the opening of their Solana Launchpad with two Solana projects from Solana creators selected as inaugural projects on the world’s largest NFT marketplace. The first Zoonies will launch on July 20, followed by the second, Monkai, on July 26
Their blog states that Opensea believes in a multi-chain future where collectors in their marketplace can connect to different blockchains and browse NFTs.
Over the past year, Solana has become the most popular blockchain with a high volume of NFT projects and sales. OpenSea said that “Solana has emerged as one of the top blockchains for NFTs, and we share their vision of a scalable and inclusive NFT ecosystem.”
We’re sure the creators of Blockchain are over the moon.
The new Solana Launchpad experience
OpenSea will make their Solana NFT projects as painless as possible. Creators can run a new mint from pre-mint activity to post-mint and secondary sales. Additionally, the Solana Launchpad experience will allow for listings for the community and supporters.
To begin with, OpenSea has revealed it will launch a launchpad experience with two Solana builders. OpenSea will guide builders and study the process and any troubleshooting needs. Once the process runs smoothly, they are committed to extending the Solana experience to other NFT projects.
However, for now, we’ll have to be content with the two collections we’ve selected.
Zoonies NFT collection
The Zoonies are a collection of cute mutants from the planet Zoon. Their story tells of a time, thousands of years ago, when they decided to isolate themselves from other civilizations. The status quo has changed, and they now allow people to share in the joy of their wonderful planet.
The collection consists of 8888 Zoonies that will be available for mint on the OpenSea NFT Marketplace on July 20th. Zoonies includes utility playable arcade games (roulette and slots), 2D metaverse with 10,000 apartments, and staking.
monkai
Monkai is an anime narrative-driven NFT project where holders of a Monkai NFT create anime narratives and access utilities through the Monkai DAO.
They plan a gaming metaverse where yokai demons and monkai bloodlines fight to protect and conquer the land of Edo in Japan. The mint took place on the OpenSea NFT Marketplace on July 26th.
Solana in OpenC
Solana NFTs have been available to buy, sell and transfer on OpenSea since April. The new Launchpad will complete the circle for the Solana-centric NFT experience at OpenSea.

It’s great to see that OpenSea gives access to NFTs across the blockchain. Launchpad aims to make the new mint experience painless by helping with pre-mint activity and secondary sales.
