Everton will launch digital shirts for fans’ Metaverse avatars

Premier League Football Club Everton The fashion-focused NFT is partnering with platform Fancurve to create digital shirts that fans can buy for their Metaverse avatars. The partnership between FanCurve and the Merseyside giants follows on from a similar partnership the platform has with La Liga side Real Betis.

NFT shirts are described as high-end Photo-realistic digital jersey which is curated by FanCurve’s in-house team of 3D fashion designers. Their aesthetic consists of original designs as opposed to replica kits, drawing inspiration from the club’s 144-year history. In doing so, shirts of different rarities will be offered, third-party IP issues will be avoided, and assets will not be forced to be relevant for just one season.

Speaking of effort, Chris CookSenior Vice President of Partnerships at Fancurve, had this to say: “We are proud to partner with such a renowned Premier League club as Everton, with its passionate fanbase and rich history. We strive to be the largest and most innovative digital wearable platform for sports fans around the world, and we see this partnership as one that can help grow Everton and its community, as we explore Web 3.0 soccer fandom together”.

Digital shirts will be sold on Fancurve’s website at a date and price TBA, accepting fiat payments. For now, you can register your interest in the project to get updates.
