OpenSea has added another blockchain to its roster – NFT Plaza
OpenSea has been on a roll these past few weeks. A week after announcing support for Arbitrum, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution, it announced support for Optimism, also a layer-2 scaling solution.
“We’re excited to share that @optimismFND is officially live on OpenSea! We can’t wait to welcome and support the hopeful community” open sea Confirmed on its official Twitter handle, it is working with Optimism A team to make this integration possible.
In addition, OpenSea includes its support list Six different blockchains; Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Klytan, Arbitrum, and now optimism.
Optimism comes from OpenSea
This new development means that NFT projects created on the Optimism chain can now also be listed on OpenSea. These include popular offerings like Optimism and Bored Town.
OpenSea has also encouraged NFT creators who use Optimism to set them up Creator’s FeeLinking a help article on how to do this and searching for their favorite collections that can now be listed on its platform.
OpenSea’s deliberate onboarding of different blockchain networks to its profile means the NFT industry will be less segmented and more collections can be listed in a single place.
