Y00ts delay their NFT mint date
The long-awaited mint for y00ts’ t00b NFT, originally scheduled for September 4th, has been delayed. Accordingly, the team ran into a “blocker bug” five minutes before starting the minting session. The founders of the project promised to bring mining live 24 hours after the initial date.
The team is trying to fix all the problems, Digods founder Frank is trying to apologize – but what is the reaction of the NFT community?
Why have the y00ts delayed their NFT mint?
y00ts NFT Mint is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated drops of the season. Collectors have been applying to their scholarship whitelist program for months, hoping to win a spot. Only accredited individuals have access to the NFTs required to mint t00bs – y00ts.
Originally, everyone was looking forward to Minning Day on September 4th at 2pm PST.
Minting Day has arrived though, so there’s trouble for the y00ts founding team at DeGods. Initially, the team had to suspend minting for 24 hours due to what they called a “blocker bug”.
“Due to the nature of this bug, we don’t feel comfortable bringing Mint live right now,” They tweeted. “Mint will probably be around 24 hours from now.”
In other words, y00ts canceled their long-awaited NFT mint just five minutes before it went live.

What does DeGods founder Frank say about delays?
September 5th, known as the founder of y00ts Frank Digods A Twitter thread highlighted the event:
“I’m disappointed in myself and our team, but I’m not worried,” he wrote. “None of our plans have obviously changed today… just a serious wake-up call about how aggressively we need to address this lingering issue.”
Additionally, Frank promised all collectors that y00ts NFT Mint will be an extraordinary experience. He also mentioned that the team has some exciting announcements to make soon.
So far, the project has received a mixed response from its NFT community. Some collectors kept their hopes high, while others seemed less happy about the suspended mint.
Either way, all eyes are on the y00ts as accepted scholarship applicants eagerly await to start minting their t00b NFTs.

What are y00ts?
In short, y00ts is a collection of 15,000 avatar-style NFTs residing on the Solana blockchain. This project comes from the creators of Degods, the most successful Solana NFT collectible to date.
