Computer industry pioneer Herbert W. Frank, who anticipated the Metaverse, died on July 16 at the age of 95. About 80 renowned generative artists, photographers, poets and virtual world creators are currently working. Art Meets Science – Foundation Herbert W. Frank To honor his life and work.

Brendan Dawes will present You, Me and the Machine (2022) which uses implicit codes to create typographic compositions that drive the work, responding to the viewer’s physical distance to the work. The further the viewer is from the work, the more obscure and larger the text. As the viewer gets closer, the composition becomes clearer and longer sections of the underlying source code are revealed.

GAZELL.iO is the digital arm of Gazelli Art House, which includes an online residency program, NFT drops and collaborations, a dedicated, and a permanently installed VR library — all in the heart of Mayfair.

Since 2015, the GAZELL.iO residency has provided a unique insight into the environment of some recognized and upcoming VR, AR and digital artists. The four-week online residency allows artists to take creative control, showcase their artistic journey and engage directly with new and existing audiences.

In 2020, Project Space was launched to allow artists to display their digital artworks in a physical space. Bridging the gap between digital and physical, NFT drops are shared in conjunction with subsequent project space exhibitions or artist residencies.

GAZELL.iO aims to bring a new generation of digital art pioneers and artists to a wider audience through dynamic exhibitions and educational programs.
