Fvckrender Q&A: Undoxxed Founders and the Future of LVCIDIA NFTs

Metaverse is taking shape right before our eyes, and artists like Fvckrender, aka

Frederick Duquette, it’s happening. Through Trade, a 3D artist, Fvckrender creates deep-moving works – some of which have sold thousands in Sotheby’s and Christie’s.

Vancouver-based artist Lil Nass has worked with big names like X, LeBron James, Puma, Spotify, Instagram, Supreme, Christian Dior, Hypbist and many more. After selling NFT in marketplaces like SuperRare and NiftyGateway, he wanted more. So he is entering into Metaverse – or rather, creating his own name

Elvisidia.

LVCIDIA is a virtual virtual gallery that presents the fragility of our existence as well as the beauty of our humanity. Most recently, Fvckrender launched the much-anticipated Fvck_Avatar NFT collection of 12,969 unique avatars. These PFP avatars will act as “beacons” or landmarks on LVCIDIA.

With Fvckrender we were able to learn more about the world he created, as well as his new PFP project.

Tell us a little about your background.

I am a digital artist from Montreal, currently based in Vancouver. I dropped out of school very early and started watching countless hours of YouTube tutorials teaching me how to create art and use 3D software.

How did you get into web3 and the crypto industry??

I have seen many of my friends sell their own work and pay through ETH which has made me very excited. My goal is always to be able to survive in my industry and not have to do commercial work or someone else’s vision. I wanted to create my own world, and web3 allowed me to do it.

You are widely regarded as one of the occultists in space. How did you see it evolve while you were active? What does it mean to be ‘Ozzy’ to you? “

It’s too bad to hear! It’s hard to see it this way, since we were all so deep in it then we don’t really understand what’s going on around us. I think being OG means being early.

What is LVCIDIA?

LVCIDIA is a virtual art experience with a high level of game design and tokenics – an exploratory work of art.

Tell us a little bit about inspiration

Fvck_ avatar Collection

Since the trend was for people to use PFP projects as their profile picture on Instagram and Twitter, I decided to challenge myself to create a collection that people could use for it based on my style with the iconic elements used in my art.

You had to burn the essence to make mint, can you tell us more about it and why you chose that mechanics?

Honestly, I don’t really have a good reason. I just thought getting people to play the game was more interesting, I always wanted my community to participate as much as possible.

Can you give us some LVCIDIA alpha?

The next update is going to be crazy … that’s all I can say

We talk a lot about transparency in the web 3 space, how do you feel about projects with undoxed founders?

Great question. I personally like Doxed, but it seems Undoxed teams perform well, but I don’t know. I personally don’t think, unless the team and the project are sick.

Do you expect people to stay away from your work?

I want people to be proud to own it. I want people to consider my pieces as a luxury NFT item, not a streetwear sheet, not a baseball card, like the Cartier of Web3.

What do you still think needs to change about web3?

There is a huge aspect of education that needs to be addressed so that people do not benefit.
