Interview with Rocketgirl NFT artist NFT Culture | NFT News | Interviews and more

What is a part of the NFT industry that you want to buy but miss?

When I first became aware of it in 2018, I will forever regret not buying 1/1 Alota Money. His legacy will be the new cryptoart frontier as Titan and his untimely death will be a huge loss for the NFT scene and the art world. In general

Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world? Why this location?

I’m going to Japan because I’m obsessed with almost everything in that country. I could eat sushi for breakfast, lunch and dinner and their rich art tradition and culture is very nice to me. I especially like skiing on Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms paving my way. Yes, I dream like an anime princess!

What are your other passions besides art? Why?

I am a full-fledged bookworm. My face is not buried in a book, a paper or a blog just when I have a paintbrush in my hand. It’s a great way to get acquainted (gain, obtain) with present-day techniques that came from the books I was lost in.

I have a deep passion for fine wine and olives (snack food of the gods). There are some people in this place who eat olives and I don’t really think they are GMI.

Do you create other forms of art?

I write poems to describe my NFT so I guess you can call that art, and I create amazing vegetarian food that is, frankly, edible art.

How do you come up with your specific style?

It was born out of years of observation of club culture and fashion and the long dark night of the soul. I draw very intuitively and plan how a piece will go – it only takes a life of its own.

How has your style evolved over the years?

I have done nothing for… 15 years with a modern twist to school from pop-art collages and huge, classical oil painting style works. I spent that time traveling and having fun and living a life that would enrich my art today. When I picked up the brushes again I created a whole new style using archival ink on the paper.

Now I have combined my provocative ink paintings with digital to create the signature rocketgirl style and I am planning a new direction that will be surreal and gorgeous.

What is coming in the near future?

I’m planning to dive into oil and acrylics first and have a collection idea that can make ‘s’ surreal.

If you could collaborate with an artist, who would it be?

It must have been Shawn Williams (iArtSometimes) because his style was as awesome to me as Baskett when I first saw it. Combining my style with her would be a dream, 100%

Do you have any upcoming drops?

I will publish some more parts of my CONTRITUM SOMNIUM collection in known origin in the next few weeks but the thing I am working on is my next collection – June is my temporary drop date to tie up with NYC NFT.

Where can collectors find your work?
