Shogunet – NFT Collection and P2E games from 0xArt
Welcome to Shogunet – the seemingly stunning NFT, hand-painted by Sean, as you prepare for battle at 0xArt’s upcoming play-to-earn game – Shogunet Arena.
Surviving by an eclectic team of NFT and blockchain veterans, including Shogunet, the founder of Mibits DAO, promises to be a real treat.
Fortunately for us, the 0xArt team has been able to answer some questions about the collection and the Shogunet Arena – enjoy.
Since when have you been working on your collection?
The concept was born in September 2021. We’ve been working for 7 months to keep it alive, P2E 99% ready, we used our own funds to build everything including the battle arena.
Why did you choose ETH blockchain?
Since we mainly own the NFT collection on Ethereum and Opensea is the main NFT marketplace, we thought this was a good decision. However, due to the fee, P2E will remain on the Polygon platform.
How many years of experience does the Shogunet team have?
Blockchain technology and NFT are relatively young. Anyway, at least we didn’t go down without explaining ourselves first
One of the founders has been a collector since 2017! Most of us have 10 to 20 years of experience in our respective domains, including NFT design, development and marketing.
How will the war happen? What do I do to win?
Battles at Shogunet Arena balance tactics with fate. To win the battle as much as possible, you need to adjust your strategy to increase your chances of winning. This means setting up your defenses, leveling out the skills you want to focus on, and deciding on the right attack plan for a specific opponent.
When do you plan to allow other collections to enter your yard (Mibits are part of the plan?)?
Other NFT collections will be able to enter the Shogunet Fight to Earn Arena after completing beta testing. This will be possible through a bridge (smart contract) that blocks NFT during combat. The bridge will be regulated by an external security provider to ensure complete safety of NFT owners.
And yes, Mbits likes the idea of bringing utilities to their NFT, such as fighting and collecting coins, through their DAO.
How do you distribute prizes among collectors?
We will have a seasonal leaderboard with prizes at MATIC and prizes for each battle at TOKU, our native erc20 shogunet crypto tokens.
What do you plan for Q3 / Q4 2022?
According to our roadmap, we will improve the field and integrate other collections. We will also work in “MMA” type fights, where the winner takes the opponent’s NFT.
In addition, our artist Seon will be working on a manga that will be released in 2023.
Before this project, were you collecting NFT?
Yes, as mentioned above, we all started in the industry very early. After the 2021 frenzy, we expect this market to become more sustainable and mainstream.
