Interview with Evan and Clone, co-founders of Cool Cats NFT

Evan Luza, co-founder of Cool Cats, and Clone (Colin Egan) spoke with NFT News Today about some highlights for the coming year and a busy year so far.

In 2022 the cool cats are on a hot streak following a life-changing 2021 for their iconic blue cat NFT collection.

Their cat NFT founder collection has now reached $ 300 million trade volume and you won’t find a Cool Cat in the marketplace for less than 4ETH (k 11k).

In fact, with the approval of celebrities like Mike Tyson and Reese Witherspoon, the rise of the Cool Cats NFT has been a thing of the past and they are not resting on their laurels.

Instead, they started the year with a jolt by signing with the Hollywood Creative Artists Agency (CAA). This will enable Cool Cats to further expand their brand in animated content, publications and high-profile events.

Their second-generation NFT collection, Cool Pets, also has a lot of potential because pets will be at the center of a cool cat’s growing ecosystem.

Despite all the success and momentum, the founders remain philosophical and manage their expectations of what lies ahead.

“Expectations are a funny word in the NFT and Web3 space, so much of it is this ongoing evolutionary experiment that relies on technical elements, time and brand positioning,” Evan said.

“It’s really rewarding to see the final look of pets on the Twitter feed and everyone reacting with different emojis and memes and GIFs,” she said.

Much like the success of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), cited as an inspiration by the founders of Cool Cats, Blue Cats has a large gathering with the art-loving NFT community.

The artwork was an original design of a clone many years before the 2021 NFT boom, also known as the ‘Catunist’.

The story of Clone’s cats being disillusioned at one point, before they return victorious in his life, makes the collection even more resonant.

Suffice it to say, the Clone Cats came back from obscurity in an Eureka moment, with Tom Williamson, co-founder of the other two Cool Cats (Extreme) And Rob Mayhew (LinkedIn), Who wanted to start a project from scratch with Evan and Clone

As a team of four, they seem to have created the perfect storm with software developers, artists and branding of Evan’s experience for Bitcoin.

After all, the secret sauce of all successful NFT collections lies in their community and Cool Cats never lost it.

Their rich community on Twitter, now over 200,000, is full of well-known cool cat artwork and transparent updates about everything in their ecosystem.

Evan believes the community is what sets Cool Cats apart from a plethora of other promising NFT projects.

“Apart from our blue cat, which literally captures the blood, sweat and tears of truth that the clone has flowed into the character over the years, this is how important accessibility is to our community and to us,” he said.

“Our goal with Cool Cats is to break the blockchain. We want to spread positivity, innovate, innovate, and define what it means to be cool on a global scale.”

“Our goal is to overcome barriers as an NFT company within our reach by easily boarding people in space and our community and scaling the IP worldwide by creating as many touch points as possible, intentionally and as much as possible. The real way. “

Speaking of which, another big step in 2022 is the partnership of Cool Cats with toy and product maker Toikido.

This will allow them to bring their brand into the physical world, in the form of plush and toy. Another huge feather in the cap for cool cats, as they take their project from a profile picture event to real life.

For the rest of the year, Evan was careful not to make too many promises to his community.

“Sometimes it’s frustrating to be overly ambiguous but that’s also the nature of the situation we’re in.” “We have a lot of conversations with exciting players both inside and outside the Web3 space.”

“Our modified product store, via Toikido, should go live next month, and paper cats seem to be the next distributor on our roadmap too … who knows what might happen beyond that!”

Paper Cats will be the next NFT collection launched by Cool Cats, with tutorials focusing on new user and developer on-boarding.

That way, everything is coming together nicely for the cool cats, and if you’re a holder of one of these NFTs, you’re probably smiling at the possibilities in store for this growing community.

Evan has taken some time to reflect on his highlights of the year so far.

“Seeing pets for the first time really brought back some of the same feelings we had when we saw cats being created and expressed for the first time,” he said.

“It’s a buzz and excitement for people to get together and have fun, talk about their favorite traits and share ideas for the future.”
