FC Porto, Portugal’s 2022 Premier League winners, are making new ground in the Upland Metavers. The new partnership will see the football club build a virtual stadium in Upland, as well as collectible teams and player NFTs.

Significantly, the Upland Metavers are real-world maps. As a result, FC Porto’s entry into Upland will open up the Portuguese city of Porto Metavers. This means that fans will be able to purchase NFT features that are mapped to their real-world address. Its focal point must be construction Estadio Dragao (Dragon Stadium) Upland.

Of course, its NFTs – the first suite of NFTs from a European football club – will also be a big draw for fans. To that end, fans will be able to collect and trade NFT in Upland.
