The drama between comedian Comney and Goblintown became ugly

Overall, the atmosphere at NFT NYC this week is one of excitement and celebration. Unfortunately, not everything has been smooth sailing. For examples of things that aren’t as planned, look no further than the current conflict between Goblintown and content creator Comm.

How did the drama between Kmoney and Goblintown NFT start?

Originally, it all started earlier this week when aspiring comedian and NFT content creator Comney tweeted about Goblintown. In a thread of now deleted tweets, Kmoney has lashed out at the Goblintown team for how he handled his performance slots at his NFT NYC party.

Altogether, Comney has accused the Goblintown team of canceling his performance without telling him. Clearly, it didn’t sit well with the content creator, although his Twitter explosion was met with mixed reactions.

On the one hand, there were many supporters of Comney who believed that Goblintown was wrong. On the other hand, many have criticized the way Kamani has handled the situation. In particular, some took up the matter of docking Comney with a member of the Goblintown team in charge of producing the event.

The organization behind Goblintown, Truth Labs, addressed the issue in its own tweet thread yesterday. It started with saying,

“Due to the epidemic outside because the event started late, we had to push the second part of the event to start Steve Aoki’s set. It is unfortunate that we have run out of time for his performance. We understand why he is disappointed. ” However, it condemns Kmoney’s actions towards the crew and staff.

By this morning, the story has taken a dark turn. Comney tweeted that he had received two death threats since he tweeted about Goblintown. Also, he claims that someone leaked the address of his New York City hotel.

All in all, this is a very unfortunate event. Whether people accept the problem with Kimoni’s initial tweets or not, it’s hard to draw a conclusion. Here it is hoped that both sides can do something and that NFT space as a whole can avoid such incidents in the future.
