Meta History Raises Over $1,000,000 in Support of NFT Museum Ukraine
The META HISTORY project team created Ukraine’s first NFT war museum a month after Russia’s full-scale war. Since then we have managed to raise $1,290,398 (803.28 ETH) in support of the Crypto Fund of Ukraine created by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with Ukrainian crypto platform KUNA and blockchain company Everstake and Serhiy Prytula’s charity foundation.
“The idea of immortalizing the event’s history in art and offering it to those who want to support Ukraine has proven effective from day one. March drops over $600,000 in 24 hours ⎯ 1,282 out of 2,178 NFTs sold. I think META HISTORY can make an important contribution to support Ukraine by highlighting the truth through NFT art and selling it until the war ends,” Brittany Kaiser, META HISTORY Ambassador, Founder of #OwnYourData, Blockchain Activist.
On July 21st, META HISTORY released its third NFT collection Warline https://ift.tt/hAU72aS, which consists of artworks that chronicle the war. Each of its notable events is illustrated by one of hundreds of artists working in various fields of visual art: oil, 3D, motion, generative graphics, calligraphy and abstraction. The exhibition is created by an artificial intelligence.
“Ukraine’s first NFT museum ⎯ META HISTORY ⎯ raised over $1,000,000 for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The project team sent all proceeds to Aid for Ukraine, a crypto-fund dedicated to the military. The NFT will not stop Russian missiles, but it provides a way to develop Ukraine as an innovation-friendly country and rebuild its economy,” said Oleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for IT Development.

The project team will say more about the collection’s third drop at an online event at Metaverse on July 28. Party Space, the project partner, will provide a virtual exhibition space where visitors can view 30 works from the new drop. , and learn more about the process of making them and more plans from the art directors and artists involved in the project. Event announcements and information on how to attend will appear soon on the museum’s MetaHistory social media pages.
“We saw great potential in raising funds for Ukraine through the NFT industry. We are now working to expand its capabilities by adding more options to allow more people to purchase artwork. And the next drop will be the implementation of free mints as well, we hope. There will also be regular Metaverse events where you can learn more about the project and the behind-the-scenes,” VK, Founder of META HISTORY Museum.
