Country Music Enters Web3 With Chill Cowboy Country Club NFT
Country superstar Brian Kelly and his wife Brittney Kelly have launched the Chill Cowboy Country Club NFT collection aimed at country music fans. The limited NFT collection of 6000 has some knee-slapping utility and can be minted on their site.
While not the first country star to enter the NFT space, Parker McCallum launched a fanbase NFT collection in December of last year, Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelly has set his sights high.
In an interview with Blockstar, he explained how as they got deeper into Web3, they realized they could make it into multiple projects. He said, “We learned very quickly that it makes a lot of sense if we combine it with a high, utility-oriented project and platform.”
He added, “We want to build an amazing community full of dreamers, planners, life lovers, music lovers and entrepreneurs. A community supported by web3, blockchain technology because that is the future.”
Brian and Brittany Kelly believe they are creating something different from previous country music NFT collections.
Britney Kelly talked about linking like-minded people, saying, “It’s about bringing fans together into a collective group. The fans are kind of huddled in fan clubs for their favorite artists, and I think this will be one of the first clubs that collectively — not just fans, but songwriters, people in the music industry, artists — they’re all brought together in this club.”
The club will involve both educational content and recreational activities and will serve as a safe place for fans to learn about Web3.
Chill Cowboy Country Club (CCCC)
The group bills the project as the ultimate country music club for country fans. CCCC is built on the Ethereum blockchain and contains 6000 unique NFT cowboys and cowgirls, created from over 260 properties. The collection was designed by artist Benedikt Aitevore.
CCCC NFT has a flat rate of $500 and comes in 3 tiers, General Admission, VIP and Legendary. Every buyer has an equal opportunity to mint a high-level collectible.
Fan and community utility
Chill Cowboy Country Club NFTs come with some serious rewards. First up is admission to Chill Cowboy Fest, their exclusive country fest.
Other utilities include exclusive access to unreleased music, backstage videos, and IP rights to your Chill Cowboy NFT artwork.
More interesting perks of Note include chats and virtual shoulder rubs with your favorite country stars and music industry insiders, real-life and virtual concerts, exclusive access to members-only designer clothing and party hosts.
With all these utilities, they want to introduce country fans to Web3 and build a country community.
Chill Fest
Only NFT holders will receive VIP access to future Chill Cowboy Fests. Chill Fest will be a party once a year created with the help of members.
The fest is envisioned as an upscale country club experience with “music, brands and immersive experiences.” Also, music stars and personalities from other countries will be present at the fest.
Other partners in the project include Tim Rice, Duck Dynasty Jep and Jessica Robertson, Drake White, Tyler Braden, Liz Rose and Chase Rice.
After the initial drop, CCCC will launch a utility dashboard for NFT holders to redeem goodies including concert tickets.
