KFC BuckETH: An NFT with a one-year supply of chicken

The NFT is set to tap into a social media competition, where designs are chosen from submissions from artists across the country. KFC claims that the winner of the contest will receive a year’s worth of fast food chicken products as an additional prize.

Unveiling
The NFT industry is already crowded, but KFC is just getting its feet wet.
In March 2017, Taco Bell made history by launching the first fast food chain’s own NFT collection. The firm showcased five unique “NFTacoBells,” sold out within half an hour on the Rarable Marketplace.
However, burger behemoth Burger King partnered with NFT platform Sweet in September 2021 to allow customers to earn NFTs by scanning QR codes.
Additionally, for the past 40 years, McDonald’s has been known for their signature McRib sandwich. Thus, no individual items in this series were ever for sale; Collectors had to win them.
