National Lampoon teams up with Non-Fungible Film

After making his mark with early magazine runs and iconic films like Animal House, National Lampoon announced its foray into the Web3 space. This will be done in partnership with Non-fungible filmThis was announced through a statement which Hollywood reported.

According to the statement there will be two Releasing NFTs and others Web 3-centric project which owns the intellectual property assets of National Lampoon. The first of these will be the NFT which is a “collection of memorabilia art” and will be made available only to users who have an “Executive Producer” pass with Non-Fungible Films.

With decades of access to material from National Lampoon’s cultural capital, upcoming NFT collections will have plenty to work with. This is particularly relevant given that its first collection will be ‘memorable’ in nature.

as Cameron MullenThe CEO and founder of NFF, explained on the announcement, “National Lampoon represents a zeitgeist of counterculture and rebellion through free speech and thought-provoking art, making it a perfect brand to find an exciting resurgence on Web3.”

Moulin also added that while National Lampoon was a huge cultural influence with its creative output decades ago, this partnership will help bring its voice to a new generation of tech-forward people.

While no other details about the partnership have been revealed, further announcements about its upcoming projects are expected.
