Pixel Vault holders discuss lack of progress and token ineffectiveness

Pixel Vault community members are expressing concerns and issues regarding the development of this project and $PUNKS, the Oliquid token. Famous NFT influencer Nathanhead.eth, took to Twitter this week, sharing a picture of his $PUNKS tokens and how he can’t swap them due to zero liquidity. Many users also questioned the future of the project in the comments.

What is Pixel Vault?

Pixel Vault is a web3 media company that focuses on creating narratives and stories to promote crypto assets in a variety of ways. They are the creators of the hugely popular PUNKS Comics, PV MintPass, MetaHero Identities and others.

What’s more, they were part of a unique partnership between PUNKS Comic, Bored Ape Yacht Club, GMoney and Adidas. Last year was huge for NFT, and Pixel Vault was an important part of the success. The Web3 company saw its NFTs generate about 100,00 ETH.

Pixel Vault, like other projects in the space, has seen its various NFT collections drop in value. Due to this, many are now questioning the longevity of the project.

A tweet by @Nathanhead.eth said, “What’s sad is, I’ve spent over half a year on two ‘Punks Comic #1’s, seeing them drop in value over time, the $PUNKS tokens I earn from staking. Totally unreasonable to find out what I was doing.”

Hope for the future

While many replies to the tweets above also questioned the future of the project, some offered an alternative view. One user pointed out recent news about a rare custom Pixel Vault market and other plans for the future.

Finally, what will happen in the long run is uncertain. However, zero liquidity in $PUNKS will certainly need to be addressed in the weeks and months ahead.
