MagicEden launches new MetaShield feature for NFT creators

Top NFT marketplace MagicEden has announced a new feature called MetaShield. This feature is designed to help creators secure their royalties in the future.

It is developed in collaboration with Coral Cube and helps creators track them Solana based resources That is listed with custom royalties. By locating these assets in NFT marketplaces, creators can ensure they are paid the royalties they deserve.

If they identify an NFT that is being listed to bypass royalty requirements, they can take action. This includes blurring images and flagging NFTs entirely Even if these NFTs are sold without royalties being paid, their metadata will show a debt of royalties they have incurred that can be repaid to the creator at a later date.
