Through the campaign, IHOP seemingly wanted to capitalize on the hype of NFTs while appeasing the naysayers. Essentially, trying to straddle the middle ground while keeping dessert firmly in the foreground. After the announcement, IHOP told its followers that they could buy ‘New French Toast’ for 10 pancoins. Its internal loyalty program utility coin is called the ‘International Bank of Pancakes’.
