This week, eBay announced that none other than Wayne Gretsky has his first NFT collection! The drop will include 13 3D animated collectibles of Greetsky’s most iconic moves. Minting will soon be available through the OneOf NFT Marketplace
What does eBay Wayne Gretzky NFT look like?
Giant e-commerce eBay has officially tapped NFT, the company revealed on Monday. Its first NFT drop features 13 3D works by iconic hockey player Wayne Gretzky. In fact, the animated collectibles will show some of Gretzky’s most iconic moves on ice.
Collectibles will come in three levels: green, gold, platinum and diamond. Accordingly, prices will be between $ 10 and $ 1,500

Where do you get the new eBay NFT?
Collectors will be able to mint things collected on eBay through OneOf, a popular Web 3 Marketplace. To be clear, OneOf has opened a dedicated store on the eBay e-commerce website. So, Wayne Gretzky NFT can be found on eBay.
This is the first collaboration between eBay and OneOff – but certainly not the last. Together, the two companies will launch more sports-themed NFT collections throughout 2022. In fact, there are NFT projects with top athletes on the cover of Sports Illustrated, including Wayne Gretzky.
All in all, eBay and OneOf both hope to bring NFT closer to the mainstream audience of e-commerce platforms.
“NFTs and blockchain technology are revolutionizing collectible space, and are increasingly being seen as investment opportunities for enthusiasts.” Collectibles, says VP of eBay in Electronics and Home Dawn Block. “Through our partnership with OneOf, eBay is now making enticing NFTs more accessible to a new generation of collectors everywhere.”

Wayne Gretzky is undoubtedly delighted with eBay’s first NFT collection Unique 3D collectible brings back valuable memories for former hockey players:
“Forty years ago, I was so grateful to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated, it was one of the most memorable moments of my life,Gretzky announced. “I am honored to bring this collectible experience to my hockey fans who have followed my career for decades.”
Of course, Wayne Gretzky is no stranger to the NFT. Hockey legend Tom Brady dropped his own digital assets in August 2021 through his platform, Autograph. At the time, Gretzky said his main goal as a content creator was to “appeal to both new and long-term collectors”.
What is OneOf?
In short, OneOf is a Web3 platform aimed at facilitating NFT trading. Marketplace prides itself on its eco-friendly blockchain technology. This feature persuaded many big names in the sports industry to join the platform.
For example, Doja Cat sold its single version NFT through OneOf in September 2021. Earlier this spring, the infamous Big Estate also dropped a themed NFT collection.
One of the most important contributions to the platform is the Grammy Awards. The two teams have joined forces to launch the Grammy Award NFT through the Tejos blockchain.
In conclusion, OneOf’s partnership with eBay is clearly one of the biggest achievements to date. Their Wayne Gretzky NFT will soon be dropping through OneOf’s Dedicated Store on eBay – and it’s just the beginning! The pair will probably headline more in 2022 with their future athlete-themed collection.
